New year, new books, new amazing reads to get on your TBR or Wishlist!
The Crafty Bookstore’s most exciting work is featuring and highlighting the many Indie Authors out there in the world. Part of our New Year, New Products launch includes shining the spotlight on various Indie Authors with release dates within the month, whether they are a featured author in our store or not! Each month we will do the following to best feature these authors:
Each author is either submitted to us by the author themself, one of their fans, or we found them searching social media.
We have included their Instagram handle as a link so you can give them a follow.
The book title is a purchase link, we ensured, when possible, we provided direct purchase options but otherwise provided the purchase links they have.
So without further ado… the first Indie Authors releases! January Releases submitted by authors and readers alike in order of release date, for the most part!
Havelah McLat @havelahmclatwriter is relaunching her novel “A Forever Summer” on January 1st. A sweet small town romance packed with aspects sure you suck your heart in like amnesia, childhood friends, and lots of history.
Ann Michelle Harris @ann_michelle_harris25 comes in with a YA Romantasy releasing January 6th. Her novel titled “North” brings you into a warring fantasy world, with forbidden love, an epic adventure, and a found family that is far better than the evil politically motivated family she’s from. If this sounds up your alley then we think you might devour this read.
AJ Woods @ajwoodsauthor is “Moving In” with her second novel releasing January 7th! Desperate for roommates means unexpected sparks start to fly, as opposites prove to attract or do they? You find out with this Indie novel!
Sienna Blake @siennablakeauthor takes you to the darker, thrilling, suspenseful side of romance with her release “Hunting Pretty” coming out January 9th. For fans of the Cat and Mouse series, this one will grip you and keep ahold with its secrets, twists, and its readers say a strong female character you’ll love.
Mina Myles’ @minamylesbooks “The Ice Out” is happening January 10th and hopefully not a literal one! For all those hockey romance lovers a new one is coming your way with dual POVs, giving you a chance at this unexpected second chance romance, lost love, but no third act break-up novel making this a heart warmer.
Yailin Melecio @yailinmelecio releases her second novel in the Eftomine Prophecy series on January 10th. Don’t go reading “A Veil of Gold Thorns and Sealed Fates” without reading the first, but don’t miss out on the dual POVs, world building with political intrigue, secrets galore, and forbidden love.
Everly Claire @everlyclaireauthor will take you into a dark dystopian world of slavery in “Never Broken” on January 15th. But some of you might break reading it, as it’s packed with secrets, forbidden romance, and world building that matches the swooning you’ll feel in this novel.
S.M. Hallow @smhallowink has her debut set to hit shelves January 16th, titled “How to Survive This Fairytale.” If you love a novella that has dark but cozy fairytale retelling vibes with an evil and conniving narrator, that includes a love story, redemption, with a twist of horror then you need to check out her novel!
Courtney & Clarke Collin’s @collins_authors “In the Name of Honor” releases January 27th and if you love a solid creature feature thrown into a fae fantasy world, we think you will love this! With the slow burn of a princess and bodyguard amidst fighting evil and the odds, there’s much to enjoy, oh did we mention dragons!
Erin Page @erinwritesromance is on the pages with her spicy romance “Reckless Omission” releasing January 30th. If you get a kick out of love at first sight wrapped in a forbidden romance, sprinkled with spicy moments, and maybe a big mistake then we think you’ll enjoy this new book!
Barbara Howard @bhowardphipps blends romance and suspense in her upcoming novel “History Lost Between Us.” Releasing January 31st this novel is packed with secrets, history, old flames and second chances, and a mystery that will either bring them together or tear them apart.
K. Malady @kmaladybooks has an exciting January, with three, yes three, novellas releasing which include “She Who Frees the Selkie” on January 3rd, “She Who Binds the Fae Prince” on January 17th and on January 31st “She Who Turns the Vampire.” She who writes these has been busy! If you love aquatic adventures with a dash or romance, or spicy fae fantasies with forced proximity, or royal vampires and reluctant allies, you should check out her reads!
